Peach Crumble

Our whole household could not stop getting into this Peach Crumble, it was DELICIOUS! The peaches were so buttery and smooth, then the crust had the perfect little crunch to it. I'm telling you, this may be our new summertime dessert. You're going to love it!!

Ingredients:

FOR THE FILLING:

  • 4 c. sliced peaches (from about 2 lb.)

  • 1/3 c. granulated sugar

  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or cardamom

  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt

FOR THE TOPPING:

  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar

  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or cardamom

  • 1 stick salted butter, melted

TO SERVE:

  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  • For the filling: Preheat the oven to 375°. Stir together the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon and kosher salt in a medium bowl.

  • Pour the mixture into a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate or an 8-by-8-inch baking dish.

  • For the topping: Stir together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon in the same bowl.

  • Add the melted butter and stir until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the peach mixture.

  • Bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 40 minutes.

  • Serve with vanilla ice cream, if you like.
