For most of us major summer travel plans are on hold. But it’s inevitable, schools out and warmer temperatures usually mean vacation! And the need for a little change in scenery is real. Almost everyone I know is road tripping right now and it made me think to share a little packing hack I swear by.

Everyone in our family has a compartmented garment bag that I grab when a road trip is in our future. It’s unbelievable how roomy they are and it makes staying organized a cinch!

From bows to undies to pj’s to swimsuits, there’s a place for everything.

When all the essentials are tucked away, I use the expandable lower section to stash a large packing cube for shoes. And, Voila! You’re packed! They lay flat into he back of a car and when you reach your destination all you need to do is hang in a closet. No need to unpack!

When we were looking for a little break from quarantine life in our house, we retreated to a home on the beach for a couple of weeks. The salt air, cooking in a different kitchen, and a change in backdrop has done wonders for our sanity. And I was able to pack the girls for a two week vacay without forgetting a thing! And who doesn’t love eliminating bulky suitcases?! I promise this little hack is a game changer!

What little getaways do you have planned for the summer months??

Xx,
Jo
