Prepping For Easter: Kids Baskets

I’m prepping Easter baskets for my niece and nephew and thought today would be fun to share some of my favorite treats that I tuck inside of them and my picks for basket goodies!

I started with simple wire baskets that can be used for book or trinket storage after Easter is over. Added some shredded paper for stuffing and went to town. I like to use a thicker ‘stuffer’ because I use it to add levels for items to sit on to make for a better presentation. I’m also notorious for book giving and I feel like it makes for the perfect backdrop to start layering! I’m always picking up little things that catch my eye and Easter seemed like the perfect time to put them all together. Since I will be shipping these to Florida, I chose to make candy-free baskets this year and I love how they turned out!

There are so many great places to find basket trinkets. I have collected things from Target, World Market, Paper Source, and HomeGoods! My girls are obsessed with snow globes as of late and I think they will be the focal point of their baskets. I will save candy for what they collect at their egg hunt and tuck a cute crafting kit, some books, and art supplies to make it extra special. Of course, the Easter bunny doesn’t just visit the kids in our house. Nick has a little basket brewing too!

If you’re still looking for some inspiration and wanting to make your baskets extra special, head over to shop my favorites!

Hoppy, I mean happy collecting!!! What are your favorite Easter basket go to’s?

Xx,

Jo
